MY GOALS TERM 2

Last term my smart goals were to get faster at writing and get my sports flash by the end of the year.

So far, I have marginally improved on writing.
My smart goals are the same this term.
I am going to achieve these goals by doing sport and complete at least a page of writing in the given time frame.

Cross Country Success

The sun gleamed off the visitors cars in the morning mist of anderson park. All the year 4 to year 6 classes strode to the pre arranged cross country course.

We were second after the girls they lined up at the starting positions. We screamed as they rounded the first corner... WHOOOSH! They sped past us! Aotea won, takitimu, 2nd and tainui 3rd

2 minutes later and they finished and now it's was our turn we line up Hugh and Matthew next to me,

“On your marks, gets set…” CLAP!

I ran a bit slower than I could at the start, then sped up the closer I got to the finish line the faster I got. At three meters then I boosted it across the finish line…

I got 3rd! I whooped as I walked back our team to  With Matthew 2nd and Zach 1st. I was exceedingly tired because of that so I walked slowly to the fence and sat on a post and smiled broadly at my amazing victory.

The sound of the starting gun shudders through my body. I see the whole of Hillary start cheering like they were in a stadium. As they swam toward the finish line, the mountain of yellow Hillary hold their  breath, 4 meters… 3 meters… 2 meter... Annnnnd… Hillary WON!I turn around and give all my friends huge high fives!
